Different faces of vegetarianism
The day you decide to change eating habits and become vegetarian, vegan, raw foodist, or follow a macrobiotic diet you are faced with endless explanations on what types of food you should eat and which products you should avoid. Besides scanning all the ingredients in your everyday products you most likely end up spending endless hours explaining to your family and friends over and over again why you can not eat fish, or why you would not eat the soup, even if it is served cold, or why you would eat chicken but not lamb.
After being on this road more than once myself, I decided to come up with a classification system for different types of veg*an and vegetarian-related diets. In this article, all the eating habits have been devided into 4 big groups: occasional meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and other. Below is the list of all different types of diets. To read about one of the eating practices simply click on the group name (the page will open in a new window). Or follow “Read more” link to read the whole article.
