Earth Day plans

Earth Day is only 2 days away!  What are your plans for the big occasion?  How are you celebrating the day of our planet?

Green

Whether you are looking for a festival, conference, or educational tour check the Earth Day network.  And if you are organizing an event you can register it with the network.  To get more Earth Day links, read PassiFlora’s Earth Day blog post.

Veg*n

For those of you planning a get together, Jenn from Hello Veggie posted a list of 20 great and easy vegan meals:

They are all healthy, simple, and veggie based.  Most ingredients can be found at your conventional grocery store if they aren’t already in your pantry.

And one more reason to keep checking Jenn’s blog?  She is currently working on the list of 20 best vegan desserts!

Craft

And what is a party without party favors?  Becky, aka The Fab Miss B made beautiful baskets, using scrap gift-wrapping paper and toilet paper tubes.  Follow the link to see more photos and a step-by-step description.

Thank you so much for linking to my May Day baskets. What better way to celebrate earth day than by doing a bit of recycling? Cheers!
