2-for-1 Wednesday: Green slideshows and Easter eggs.

It’s Wednesday and time for PassiFlora’s 2-for-1 Wednesday post.  It was hard to pick only two great pages this time so we are treating you with several resources, all of them are not only useful but quite entertaining.

Do you like online slideshows?  What about green online slideshows?  Like the one about recycling bins from all over the world:

Or the best of green culture slideshow:

If you are a slideshow junkie, Treehugger gallery has a thing or two for you.  But Treehugger is much more than just slideshows, it is:

the leading media outlet dedicated to driving sustainability mainstream. Partial to a modern aesthetic, TreeHugger strives to be a one-stop shop for green news, solutions, and product information.  TreeHugger is helping the masses get hooked on sustainability.

Easter Eggs

Easter is just several days away and we continue looking for interesting holiday ideas.  How about a fun, vegan, edible Easter eggHerbivoracious (aka Michael Natkin) came up with an easy recipe of an inside-out egg.

The story of this egg is told in two parts: the surprise of finding an inside-out egg and an actual recipe for it.

For those looking for natural ways to decorate Easter eggs this year, here is an interesting photograph from Savvy Crafting.

The article talks about natural dyes for regular eggs but the image made me think of a perfectly vegan way for decorating wooden eggs.  If you find the beans and seeds decorating idea interesting, or if you have other eco-friendly ways of decorating eggs, send us your pictures at passifloramag@gmail.com and we will feature them in our blog.

And what happens when you combine slideshows and egg decorating?  Rider Digest has an answer

Meaghan Mountford, author of Cookie Sensations and Craft Gossip’s edible crafts editor, shares her ideas for unique egg decorations. With just a few inexpensive and easy-to-find supplies, you can transform plain eggs into works of art.

My personal favorites are the preppy eggs
