If you are interested in submitting material, please follow the steps described in our guidelines or you can leave a comment to this editor’s letter with your ideas.
The first issue of PassiFlora is almost fully devoted to the upcoming holidays. Here is a snapshot of the different categories and content:
Articles
Read about ideas for vegetarian and vegan potluck dinner, green gift-wrapping, as well as ways to spend your free time during the holidays and share your joy with the loved ones. The column “Vegetables of the month” will help you make sense of your root vegetables and provide you with all the useful information about parsnips and turnips.
Recipes
PassiFlora focuses on vegetarian and vegan food. The first issue features a collection of our favorite seasonal Recipes. Check out our soups, salads, side dishes, and desserts.
Fresh
Fresh section of the magazine is all about useful tips and tricks. We are starting a collection of illustrated kitchen tips. We also share tricks on eco-friendly Christmas decorations. Finally this section features a column on ingenious use of every-day objects. Look how you can use a simple apple as part of your holiday decor.
Craft
The Craft section of the first issue features instructions for the seasonal origami models as well as the links to the origami websites. It also provides you with the patterns and instructions to different projects mentioned throughout other sections.
And you too can contribute and participate!
Even if you are not ready to submit the whole article we would like to get to know you. Every month, PassiFlora features a new Question of the month. This is our way to share some personal stories with you and to get to hear yours. A selection of your letters will be published each month on our website. Please check out my story on the most memorable Christmas of my life.
